Storyline:

Embryo follows Kevin and his girlfriend Evelyn, campers who are abducted by aliens who impregnate the latter. As the entity inside her starts growing, Evelyn discovers her cravings can only be satsisfied by human flesh and blood.

Right, well the concept idea behind this Chilean sci-fi horror movie and the movie’s cover definitely is what drew me in to sitting down and watching “Embrión” (aka “Embryo”).

And “Embrión” is a sad hybrid – pardon the pun – of a ‘found garbage’ movie and a low budget sci-fi horror. Not a particularly great mixture in this case, despite of the storyline sounding really interesting.
